Pretty Nose was an Arapaho war chief in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Though much about her has been lost to history, her face tells the story of someone who is strong and courageous. To me, she appears to be a person who sees through lies, manipulation, and foolishness and understands what matters and what is true.
